Sweet Dreams Crochet Spa Set Pattern

With a teenager and a preteen daughter in the house I am quickly seeing how much face care routines have changed since I was their age. I think my sister and I had Clearasil or Noxema in the early 90s, and we maybe used a tinted moisturizer since my mom said we weren’t old enough for makeup. Now, there is a little more knowledge on face care for their age.

With them taking a little more interest in not getting any more pimples and black heads, I am seeing how many more cotton face pads we are going through. It dawned on me that I could make little crochet ones that we can wash, and not have to throw away so much.

These little rounds are quick to make, and so much fun to play around with the color combinations. I made 2 different patterns for the rounds. One has a surface crochet spiral that I show how to do in the YouTube tutorial. I made 4 of each design, and alternating the colors really creates a fun and playful look. This creates 8 rounds, one for each day of the week, and one more in case you need one on laundry day.

The little pouch is worked mostly in the round. The foundation single crochet drawstring keeps the pouch closed, perfect for creating a gift set and holding in the rounds while doing the wash.

I think these are going to be well used in our house, and definitely will help keep all those cotton rounds out of the trash. Also, for a few of their close friends, this may be just the perfect gift for them too.
