Crochet Easy Skinny Ladder Scarf

Crochet Easy Skinny Ladder Scarf

This is a great crochet project to use up some of those single skeins we all have around.  It is made with Red Heart Soft (find it here) yarn in Really Red, which makes a great soft fabric out of worsted weight yarn that is comfortable to wear next to the skin.  It is 100% acrylic so no itches if you are sensitive to wool.  But, if you have something that is thicker or thinner, and you want to do a different material content then use it!  Just adjust the hook size accordingly up or down to be able to make your desired scarf.  Gauge is not as extremely important on this pattern since you just keep going till you either A) run out of yarn or B) have it as long as you like.  Yay – no gauge swatch! fiber hand craft

Hello!  I am Cathy, and I have created this blog to provide a place for others to learn more information about traditional fiber based hand crafts through tutorials and patterns.  As I was learning I found it difficult to have truly basic information for beginners, so I want to fix that.  Not only do I want to educate on different techniques and crafts, but also offer free patterns with contemporary techniques and modern styling.  I want to make things that are stylish that I get complements off of.  Things that have interesting details and construction that make them look store-bought, but actually are easy to make with step by step instructions that are easy to understand.

Also, through hand crafts I find a peaceful element in an otherwise stressful and busy life being a wife and mother with a full-time job.  Not only do I want to make things that make those who wear it feel happy making them, but also help us find a little happiness in the process of making things.

I hope that you will follow me and find a little time for yourself to enjoy what joys a little fiber fun can give.
