Stitches:
Fpdc – Yo, insert hook from front to back and to front again around the vertical post (upright part) of next st, yo and draw yarn through, yo and complete dc
Tc – Yo hook 2 times, insert hook in st , yo and draw loop though, <yo, draw through 2 lps on hook> 3 times
Dc2tog – Yo, insert hook in st, yarn over, yo and draw loop though, yarn over, draw yarn through 2 loops on hook. With 2 loops still on hook yo and insert in next st and continue to work as a dc except at the end draw through all three loops left on hook to make the decease.
Tc2tog – Yo hook 2 times, insert hook in st, yo and draw loop though, <yo, class=”hiddenSpellError” data-mce-bogus=”1″ pre=”2 ” <span=”” 2=”” through=”” draw=””>lps on hook> 2 times, Yo twice and start to work second stitch. When three loops are left draw through all three loops to make a decrease.</yo,>
Ch 71. Sl st in first chain.
Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as first stitch here and throughout pattern). Dc in next 69 stitches. Sl st in 3rd ch of beginning stitch.
Row 2: Ch 4. <Sk 1 st. Fpdc around next st. Ch 1.> Repeat to the end. Sl st in 3rd ch of beginning stitch.
Row 3: Ch 4. Tc around each ch 1 and through each Fpdc of row below. Sl st in 4th ch of beginning stitch.
Row 4: Ch 3. Dc in each back loop of the stitch in row below. Sl st in 3rd ch of beginning stitch.
Row 5-7: Repeat Row 1-3.
Row 8: Ch 3. Dc2tog in back loops. DC 7 in back loops. <Dc2tog in back loops. DC 8 in back loops.> Repeat to end. Sl st in 3rd ch of beginning stitch. (63)
Row 9: Ch 3. Dc2tog. Dc 6. <Dc2tog, Dc 7.> Repeat 5 more times to end. Sl St in 3rd ch of beginning stitch. (56)
Row 10: Ch 4. Fpdc around 3rd Dc in row below. Ch 1. Fpdc around next st. Ch 1.> Repeat to the end. Sl st in 3rd ch of beginning stitch.
Row 11: Ch 4. Tc around first ch 1. <Tc2tog. Tc 7.> Repeat 5 more times. Sl st in 4th ch of beginning stitch. (50)
Row 12: Ch 3. Dc 7 in each back loop of the stitch in row below. Dc2tog. <Dc 6 in back loops. Dc2tog.> Repeat 4 more times. (42)
Fasten off and weave in ends. For the most texture to show I wear mine inside out.
