In addition to the Dual Duty Scrubber and the Summer Spiral Scrubby here is the Waffle Scrubby crochet pattern. When I still had yarn left after making the two previous scrubbies, I just kept going and made another new one since I had another idea.
This time I combined both yarns together to create a thicker and heavier scrubby. Since I upped the weight of the yarn by combining the two I also increased the hook size by 3 letters. Going from a H to a K hook. This gives a nice heavy fabric, but it isn’t too stiff to be unmanageable.

The name comes from how thick this scrubby is, along with the little open spaces and the square shape. It reminds me of a breakfast waffle (I guess I’m hungry). Well, at least now I have a dish scrubby to wash my plate after I go eat a waffle with all the yummy and sticky syrup and whipped cream.

Is this pattern written for the waffle pattern in the round?
I don’t see where it makes rows like your picture.
It is written in the round starting in the center of the square. The pattern would be similar to a granny square pattern, just no color changes.
I love these kinds of scrubbies! They work so much better than any store-bought sponge. Thank you so much for these patterns!
Thank you! My husband really is enjoying them too! He even noticed the difference over store bought. You are welcome for the patterns, too!
I love all your creative ideas. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to your posts in the future.
