I love the Rhapsody Cardigan so I made a punchcard from the chart in your instructions, but I can’t set the carriage on my knitting machine to make the lace. I’m new at this and haven’t figured everything out yet. Are you able to provide the exact settings for the SK280 carriage? Thank you.
Hi, thank you for reaching out. From the manual of your machine I downloaded at https://mkmanuals.com/silver-reed-sk-280-knitting-machine-instruction-manual.html, it appears that the carriage on your machine is not capable of transferring the stitches for lace. You need a separate carriage for lace, from an online search it appears it is called a LC-2 carriage. Without the lace carriage an option is transferring the stitches over by hand every row.
